I still have an awkward feeling that the Roosters know something that may come out in the future.
It was just too weird given they lost their alpha in JWH.

The Roosters are a bit out of kilter at the moment.

Also lost Toupenua.to the Dogs.

No doubt he'll be out starting prop, but thought he did his best work off the bench for Roosters this year. Wouldn't mind seeing him come into the game after 20 mins and play the rest of the game out

Thought Benji got out prop rotation wrong a lot this year. Using Pole and a work horse and Twal as a bench impact prop seems very backwards.

Has incredible fitness for a prop, fully capable of playing 80 minutes if necessary. Very happy we signed him and sounds extremely motivated for success.

If May can play 80 with Hunt off the bench that gives our pack the best impact since Packerlino at their best.

Edit. Terrell is Amazing. So honest and hungry for success.

Wow, the only way to get all that is to listen to it through. From suggesting the Rorters manipulated his move so he didn't sign with a top club to appreciating opportunity because some people are eating out of bins and kids are being bombed... Layered and loaded.

I’ll take May as a starter for our team …

Twal is not in the best 17 ..although given the teams very thin forward depth ,,he will still play plenty of games in 2025

Roosters is an image club.

I dare say Taylans issues have cost Terrell by association.

The kid wasn't given any reason. Seems like a clean skin and self disciplined in his fitness etc. Can't think of any other reason.

Enjoyed listening to May …very optimistic about him … he is certainly saying all the right things…

on the other hand … can’t say I enjoyed listening to Graham … its hard work with his stammering and awkward pauses …. Seems to also want to ask a question and then inject his own experiences each time … he is often talking more than May …

I actually enjoy J.Gs interview technique. Each to their own, I guess.

Just casually going to run a marathon this month. Seems like he is hitting his fitness hard in his off season!

Very insightful interview into his mindset and attitude. Sounds like he has the hunger and drive to succeed. Bring on March!

Sounds a bit like he is hurt being offloaded by the Roosters.

That's a natural reaction, your employer no longer wants you after a successful year. Makes no sense.

It's hard to control emotion sometimes, social media is just a reflection of your real life.

Thats true. Still people suffer on social media. Comparing themselves. Look at me. Why would I want to add to their insecurities with problems I can handle on my own without social media.

There is an audience you can leverage if you have a fan base. Kalyn Ponga has started his own podcast and already got 28k views on his first video. If one of his videos go viral, he will get a ton more subscribers and sets him up for life after footy at least as a side income.

As much as I think May is a very good signing and agree he is saying and doing all the right things I'll still wait until I see what he delivers on field before praising him.
We've seen plenty of others talk the talk but not deliver and much more credentialed players than him struggle as soon as they arrive here.
Still, I am cautiously optimistic that he could be our pack leader for the next 5 years.

In the podcast he says he didn't buy into the Eastern Suburbs thing and continued to associate as a Westie. Good on him, maybe the not what the Chooks are looking for. Too independent.

Im the same... Really want him to grow and be a leader... Seems to have the size desire and ability to do so... But talk is talk... And coming from a system like the chooks to Concord could prove difficult for him
